“I don’t sit around waiting for passion to strike me. I keep working steadily, because I believe it is our privilege as humans to keep making things. Most of all, I keep working because I trust that creativity is always trying to find me, even when I have lost sight of it.” ― Elizabeth Gilbert

It’s Sunday afternoon. You’re chilling at your desk with your favorite cup of coffee in your favorite mug. You have your cute little planner sitting next to you with all of its cute little highlights in it. You crack open your laptop and set up a new google doc. You are ready to get the dream work done hunty! And so you sit hoping that you knock out your next big novel, business plan, Instagram strategy, script, or invention. And absolutely nothing happens. Your fingers won’t type for the life of you. You got nothing kid. No ideas. No a-ha moments. No nothing! And at first, you think it’s a fluke but then it happens again. And again. And again. You my friend have unfortunately hit a creative rut! And it sucks big time. So how do you get out of it? Well, that’s what we’re talking about in this week’s episode, how the hell do you dig yourself out of a major creative rut. And this time around I ask some of my favorite creative buddies to chime in and share how they get out of a rut! Check out this week’s episode of The Sunday Jumpstart.
