Exclusive networks, access to hella money and an ivy league degree can absolutely set you up for success. Ain't no doubt about that. But what if you don't have access to all of that? Well, my dear today I'm letting you in on a little secret. One way to usher success into your life is to show up, work hard for what you want and be consistent. I am living proof! I wouldn't be where I am in my career if consistency wasn't my BFF.
And it isn't just me. Look at some of your faves. Beyonce didn't become Beyonce overnight. She put in the work for YEARS before she became a household name. Think of Issa Rae, before she had a hit show on HBO she had a regular old YouTube channel that caught the attention of network execs. Why? Well because she did the work consistently for years and that work landed her, her dream. That girl you admire on IG with a million followers and a ton of brand partnerships-- yeah she's there because she kept doing the work day in and day out.
