Why I'm Pivoting My Stationery Business to Digital: Major Changes Coming to Sunday Jumpstart Paper Co.
Hey friend!
We need to talk about some big changes coming to Sunday Jumpstart Paper Co. After months of reflection, planning, and (honestly) a lot of number-crunching, I’ve decided it’s time to pivot my stationery business from physical planners to digital products. 🎉 Don’t worry—this is a good thing, I promise! I’m not quitting the planner game, just taking it in a new direction that works better for both me and YOU.
In case you missed it, I dive deep into all the details in my latest YouTube video, which you can watch here. And, as a bonus, you’ll get a sneak peek of the new digital planners launching mid-October! Here’s why I’m making the change and what you can expect from this new era of Sunday Jumpstart Paper Co.
Why the Pivot?
Let’s be real: Physical planners are great, but the rising costs of production, packaging, and shipping? Not so much. It’s been a challenge trying to keep prices affordable for you while also running a profitable business. After crunching the numbers and doing a whole lotta soul-searching, I realized that going digital is the best move forward.
Digital planners give me the freedom to be as creative as I want without the constraints of manufacturing—and let me tell you, there were a lot of constraints! No more worrying about page counts, the high costs of adding those fancy finishes (like the gold foil and coils I really wanted but couldn’t have), or skyrocketing inflation driving up production costs. Moving to digital means I can offer you more features and faster updates, all while keeping things more affordable. Plus, this shift gives me the flexibility to balance running my business with mom life, which is super important to me as a stay-at-home mom. I’m excited about how this will make planning easier and more accessible for you, without compromising on quality or creativity!
What About Physical Products?
I know some of you love the tangible feel of pen and paper, and I might still offer smaller physical stationery products like daily plan notepads or to-do lists. They’re more affordable to produce and would cater to those of you who still enjoy writing things down. But I’m still figuring out how that would work alongside my digital pivot. Balancing manufacturing with being a stay-at-home mom is a not for the faint at heart, so I’ll keep you posted!
Sneak Peek + Mid-October Launch
I’m beyond excited about these new digital planners, and I know you’ll love them too! You can get a quick sneak peek in my latest video, and stay tuned because the official launch is happening in mid-October. Trust me, these planners are packed with all the features you need to stay on top of your goals, with the added flexibility of digital.
